Having had her water break while home alone, April quickly called her husband, who was working in North Dakota, for him to catch the next flight. She then loaded up her bags and drove herself to the hospital, which was a 45 minute drive.
Amazed yet? It gets even better.
April, of course, wanted her husband at her side to see the birth of their baby, but the chances of him arriving in time seemed almost impossible.
So April (and Ryley) waited. She tracked Alan's 3 flights and layovers. And just as he landed in Lake Charles, the Dr. told April she'd have to be pushing soon.
Alan rushed to the hospital and arrived in time to be with his wife as they welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world.
I'm so thankful that I was able to see and capture this miraculous day.
